October 11th marks International Day of the Girl and this year’s theme is “My Voice, Our Equal Future.” To honour our commitment to work towards an equitable and therefore prosperous future, we are proud to share that the Pfizer Women Resource Group (PWR) in Canada will be donating $3000.00 to Plan International to help amplify the voices of girls around the world. PWR Canada believes we must extend our efforts beyond today’s workforce, to empower young women who are tomorrow’s leaders and need support in their critical formative years.
This donation will go toward helping girls in crisis access education and thereby secure a more equitable future. We are honoured to aid in these important efforts to protect every girl’s right to access education, removing barriers that will help them reach their full potential. For more information on International Day of the Girl and how you can get involved, visit Plan International Canada’s website at www.plancanada.ca.
